Nothing Like Christmas

Christmas as we know it is at least a weak celebration. First, we have Dobbertin xmas, then our xmas, and then finally Drain xmas. The Drain's all have the week off, so their xmas is like a week long.

Dobbertin's was the saturday before Xmas. It was a lot of fun and Katie and Jason anounced that they are pregnant!! WOOO HOOO!! We are so excited for them. I loved being pregnant and i love being a mom!! So when people are pregnant, I love it!!! Even more i love that it is Jason and Kate!! So that made my whole xmas. Owen got a ton of gifts!! It was a lot of fun and we are so thankful that God has given us wonderful christian families where we can come together and celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. Well, our Christmas we actually did at my parents house. A bunch of us just stayed the night at my parents b/c we thought a sleepover would be fun. It was a blast! We got up and had a big southern breakfast. Then opened gifts and hung out all day. We then played games and watched a movie leaving us there for a second sleep over!! It was a ton of fun. Standing and Everything

Owen is pulling up on everything and crawling all around!! He does not seem to care that he can crawl, but the standing, he can not get enough of. He is almost 18 pounds and 28 inches long. He is a growing boy!! We are enjoy every second of him.
He is going through an in b/w stage. I get a stage all figured out but when it comes to the in b/w I feel lost again!! I think I have finally figured out this new stage though.

Tubes

We took the kids all to Caesar Land a few Fridays ago for a pre-x mas vacation celebration. Something like that. Well, anyways, it was a lot of fun. There ended up being some kids from their class and their cousins at Caser Land. We decided to take Mia and Owen in part of the tubes and take them down a slide. Mia loved it!! She was crawling so fast I could barely keep up with her. Owen did not seem to care. Here are a few pics of the babes playing!!

Little O

Owen is just sprouting!! He is so much fun!! He is learning so many new things and has quite the personality!! Here are a few pics of him!!

Fun on the Farm

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Jason and Katies's for a get together! It was a blast! The usual Dobbertin activities took place, such as, throwing hay one the hay ride, teasing each other, and tormenting the poor kids! It was a great time! Katie and Suz did a great job planing the party! Here are just a few pics from the event!!

Grandma Kody gave Owen this hat!! It was so cute but will not fit him at spring so I thought i better get a pic of his first baseball hat!!

Owen is just helping out with laundry. He just feals bad that most of it is his!! JK

Trick or Treat!

Here are a few pics from Halloween!! He was the cutest monkey ever!! We had so much fun taking him out!! We took him to the mall to trick or treat!!

Apple's

This past weekend we went to Apple Charlie's!! It was so busy!! The weather was beautiful and we were ready to pick some apples. Little did we know that there were no, and i mean no, apples on the trees!! We found a few apples but we had to climb the trees in order to get to them. Which i am not thinking your aloud to do? Well, we paid to get apples so we got them!! My mom was able to go with us, which made it a lot more intersting and fun of course!! We had a blast!! Lots of laughs!! We totally got ripped off on the cider and donuts though!! It was 4 dollars for cider and we saw it later @ meijers for 2!! Crazy!! It was nice to go and spend some time together!!
