The Lake

We went to the the lake this sunday with our cousins Trisha and her sone Hunter! It was a blast!! I loved spending time with my family. Kyle was so excited to go b/c he wanted our dog maggie to swim. So my brother jumped into the 60 degree water, yikes thats cold, and maggie began to cry at the edge of the boat! Kyle then jumped in and maggie decided to stop being a little chicken and jump right in! I finally decided i will jump into, so we all went swimming! Maggie, on the other hand, kept jumping in and swimming to us freaking out like she drawnding!! we would then but her on a life jacket and hold her a float; after a couple seconds of that she would swin fantically back in the boat. Repeating this several times. Owen also enjoyed his second boat ride b/c her got to spend time with Gegee and Gegaa (that is for you sarah).

New Hair

Owen: Well, chicks this is my new hair. My mean mom cut it. I do not know what possessed her to do this!! I like it!! It makes me look like a big boy! Except my head does get a little colder now!

Me: Well, what possessed me to do this was he turns his head creating bold spots on the sides and extremely long hair just on top!! It looked like a mow hawk!! So due to the advice of some sister-in-laws I cut my child beautiful hair!! I did it a few nights ago!! Gegee is not to happy with me but as for the other things i do that she does not like (love yah mom) she will just get used to it!!

Vaca

There were several things we got to do while on vacation!! We had a movie theatre at the resort so we took full advantage of that (it was free)!! Owen would sleep during the whole thing!!

We also were able to go to Arabian nights which was a lot of fun!!



Kyle and his father played pool every day!! Neither of them wanted to lose so they kept playing to see who would win the most!!
And of course the Dobbertin put put!! You can never escape playing!! My theory is the less serious you take it the better you are!! They don't seem to have the same attitude to put-put!!! I was told that i must hit the ball softly and to the end they did not realize!! I do not take advice when it comes to put put!! It was a good time and they of course whooped our butts!! Maybe are should start taking it more serious!! LOL

Sleeping In

One of the never things I get to do!! JK, to me getting up early is 8 o'clock!! So getting to lay in bed forever and play with Owen was a treat for Kyle and I.

Pool Time

Here is just some of the little Pool time Owen received!! He did not enjoy the pool at all, but truly enjoyed his sun tent!! He took a nap there every morning while we got to hang out!! It was Great!!
